The Torque Fest Forque Test

ok - so I freaked out a bit on the guys doing burnouts last year....
but honestly - we can NOT have that happening with all the people walking around. If someone gets hurt - they are not gonna come after you - they are gonna come after the show. And that is why we can NOT have people doing burnouts when mixing with the spectators.
AND
this is why we have come up with a solution.
The Forque Test area.
(another way of saying a bike burnout pit)
Motorcycles that choose to burn off their tires can go on the specified area in the Motor Psycho section of Torque Fest. This way they can smell the burning rubber and not have to worry about having the bike cut loose and run over 3 kids in the process...........
hope this makes the bike guys a bit happier.

We really want the bike guys to be a part of the show.......
and trust me, there are more than a few car guys that are not necessarily down with the mix. But I feel the segment of bike guys that are coming to Torque Fest are NOT the typical leather wearing rolex rider looking to play outlaw for a day....
the bike guys we are trying to get in the door have a deep respect for the traditions of the past. This means looking for those old bikes and getting them up on the road again or creating something that has eyes looking toward the past. They are not afraid to modify a Yamaha SR 400 into something truly unique and something that is their own. The same mindset of tearing down and rebuilding to make something "your own" is strong in both communities.
I think the motorcycle enthusiasts understand where we are coming from, and know that we are all there to have a good time.

  1. Thank you for recognizing our contribution! My dad builds old cars and helps me with the old bikes. We'll both be there on bikes!
